I just installed the latest windows update, and on restart Windows had turned my AVG internet security off, and left Windows Defender on. Can I use these two together, or should I turn Windows Defender off and turn AVG back on? I had trouble with a previous windows update and had to hire a tech to fix my computer because the the windows updates were incompatible with AVG Internet Security and raised havoc with several things on my computer. I need advice on what to do.

We'd be glad to clarify this for you.
We would like to inform you that we cannot use Windows defender and AVG Internet Security simultaneously. Once AVG is installed, windows defender will be turned OFF automatically. AVG continuously upgrade the functionalities of it's software to be at the top of security. Sometimes this would end up with conflicts, however, we always had specific troubleshooting to fix the issues.
Please make sure you have updated version of AVG Internet Security and restart your PC. Please turn OFF Windows defender firewall through windows settings and turn ON AVG components manually.
