Hi Sam.
The Zoom exploit, is a flaw specific to Zoom, which the user will need to communicate with Zoom directly. I suggest you to ensure your computer operating system, and all programs (including Zoom), are updated to prevent exploits.
You may refer to their blog (https://is.gd/ZHFxlJ) regarding this. You might have to disable AVG protection to temporarily download the Zoom app which we do not recommend.
Hi there,
I have an interview for university tomorrow, and with Covid-19, it is set to be on Zoom.
The site it's self looks "dodgy" enough to make me think twice as is, but now AVG I.S has stop me from downloading the app as it looks like a phishing software.
I don't really want to continue with the download but I'm slightly forced to, what would your team recommend?
I know you can't flat out say if zoom is safe or not but would it be safe to only have it for my 1 hour time slot and then uninstall?
Many thanks, Sam
