If you stop the scan in the midst of its progress, it will show you that the scan is completed with 100%. From the issue you described, it looks like you initiated a scan using AVG Internet Security and it got stuck at 7%.

Please repair your program once, restart your PC and initiate the scan again. To do so, have a look into the below mentioned steps:
- On the Start menu enter Control Panel in the search box and select Control Panel from the results.
- Select Programs > Programs and Features, and then select AVG Internet Security.
- Select  'Uninstall' and you will be getting an option to repair.
- Restart your PC

Previously when running antivirus, the program shows progress up to 100% complete-now the program only goes to 7% and when the scan is stopped, it shows that the scan shows no virus, no sensitive documents, etc.   Is the program actually working to 100%, even though it shows only 7% complete on the scan, or is the program not working beyond the 7% shown?    How do I fix it?
