I request you to perform reinstallation of AVG Internet Security using removal tools to check whether it resolves the issue.
Please run both removal tools as mentioned in this article: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product to remove AVG traces.
NOTE: If there are no traces of AVG then click on "Run Anyway" to proceed with the removal.

Hello there
I have been trying to find an email address on your website to send the error message I received each time I click on my AVG icon on my desktop. It's very frustrating! There is no way to contact you by email. I live in Mauritius and live chat or phone call is not an option. I have restarted my computer yesterday as prompted by AVG and since then I been receiving this message. Am I still protected? And why can't I open my avg dashboard?
