Thank you for responding to my question.  Unfortunately the repair did not make a difference.  I followed the suggestion step by step and it still hangs up and does nothing.  I end up having to use task manager to close the program.  Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I am running windows 10 and have Microsoft outlook as my email program.  When I go to add an email address to my blacklist, my AVG is non responsive.  It just hangs up with the little blue circle going around and around.  I have to just close it out.  Whenever I try to add to my black list this always happens.  I get a message "AVG is not responding"  "Do you want to wait or close the program."  I can wait forever and nothing else happens.   HELP

Yes, I did restart my computer after the repair as it said to do.  Still have the same problem with it just hanging up and not responding.

Ann, I appreciate your efforts and patience so far. I have sent you an email, please follow the email instructions to get in touch with the remote support. They will analyze the issue with AVG and fix it, free of cost.

Ann, I appreciate your efforts. Have you restart your computer after the repair? If not please restart your PC and check the status.
