I would request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install. I did that last night, I still have the same issue. That's why I'm here looking for help. At least is there a chance to install the AVG Internet Security 2014 to do a downgrade, Because after an update on the 2015 it became useless.
The current 2014 Internet Security forced me to install the 2015 version. Is there a way to install the 2014 version??

I have now the same problem on my win 10… steam not downloads… i cant visit some sites
After an AVG update, I can't download any file from internet. I noticed this using Steam while I tried to download a game, which pauses the download every 5-10 seconds. This happens with any download. I also tried reinstalling the 2014 version which works fine in another machine I have, but the installer forced me to install the 2015 cursed version.
I tried disabling each component one by one, and doesn't work. If I use the option "Disable AVG" with the firewall enabled, I can download files normally.
I paid for a 2 year license on this product and with the latest Internet Security 2015 version I'm facing this issue.
Please help me to solve this annoying defect on your product.

We do understand how difficult this is for you. Do you get any error messages while trying to access some sites? It could be better if you provide us the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the issue you are facing. Please make sure that your AVG programs is currently up to date (AVG 2016 and built version: 16.111.7797). And we suggest you to add those steam application to the exception list http://avgclick.me/AddException as suggested in this article. Thank you!
