I request you to disable AVG Internet Security temporarily as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-use-Passive-Mode to check whether it resolves the issue.
Since updating to AVG Internet Security Version 17.7.3032 I can no longer receive Gmail emails.
Anybody got a solution?

I appreciate your efforts in trying to fix the issue. I have sent you an email, please follow the email instructions to get in touch with the remote support. They will analyze the issue with AVG and fix it with free of cost.
