AVG Internet Security--False info on home screen

I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Please repair your AVG Internet Security and check if that fixes the issue.
To repair your AVG please follow these instructions:

1. Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
2. Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
3. Select AVG Internet Security in the list of programs.
4. Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
5. Select Repair.
6. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
7. Restart your computer.

When I call up my AVG, I get false info on home page. It says Last Scan–a few second ago, and the Last Definitions–a few seconds ago. That cant be true, because I did a Scan last night., and I still get the same message. What do I need to do to correct this message?
