AVG Internet Security Gui doesn't open

Hi Dinesh,

after your reply I tried out this tool, but the behavior didn't change. After uninstalling with AVG Clear I reinstalled AVG Internet Security with the same result. The Gui is not starting.
I have Win 10 Version 1809 (Build 17763,475)

Hi,

after installing AVG Internet Security on WIN X there is the icon and if I click on it, there is the little menu where I can stop the service or open the product. But if I click open, this little window freezes and nothing more happens. I tried so reinstall the product several times without any change. 

Any idea?

Hi Ranjani,

that's what I wrote first. When I click on the icon in the system tray first time after reboot, the menu is only one time visible. If I click on open the little windows freezes, but nothing more happens.
And if I move the cursor over the icon again the laben doesn't appear on the AVG icon. All other labels appear as usual.

How can I tell you the version I installed, when I cannot start the gui?

This isn't the usual behavior of AVG program.
Would you be so kind to let us know if you've used AVG Clear tool while reinstalling the program?
Also, let us know the operating system of your computer. Is it Windows 10 or XP?

Please let us know if the program opens fine when the desktop icon of AVG is double clicked.

Are you able to open AVG product by clicking on its icon under system tray next to clock? 
Let us know the version of AVG you have re-installed to check and escalate it further.
