AVG Internet Security installation failure

Morning.

Tring to reinstall AVG and get the following error message:
 Installation failed
0xC0070005: The added waitable object already existed in the collection

I have run AVG remover and restarted but it happens again.

I am sorry to hear that. Please follow the steps from this link before initiating the installation of AVG.

Once you completely remove old traces, please install the latest version of AVG from this link: https://www.avg.com/en-us/download. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.

I too am having this problem after twice attempting to reinstall AVG Internet Security following what appeared to be a conflict with Malwarebytes.  AVG Remover has claimed both times that there were no traces of AVG left on the computer.  I'll try AVG Clear as well and see if that solves things, but will get back to you if it doesn.t

Note : Please run the AVG Clear first and then the AVG Remover. If AVG Remover does not detect any version of the AVG product on your PC, click Run anyway to remove leftovers.

Once uninstalled, please reinstall the AVG Internet Security from http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection
