AVG Internet Security installation problem

Please check if AVG Internet Security is already installed in the computer. Follow the below steps to check for the program.
Open Control panel –> click Programs and Features/Programs –>  check for AVG Internet Security.
If you have located AVG Internet Security, please uninstall it from control panel and reinstall the program.

Hi,
I have purchased AVG Internet Security subscription, but the official installer I downloaded here does not work for me. The installation seems to proceed flawlessly, but when it finishes, there is no desktop or start menu shortcuts or taskbar icon. I started the installation as Administrator. I even used offline installer, but with no success. There is no error code or message. I try to install the product on Windows 10, Acer Predator laptop. Please help me to resolve the issue. I shall provide any additional information if required promptly. Thank you.

I did it many times already. I used AVG Uninstall tool in Safe Mode as well. I even cleared all regystry leftovers manually. Then I tried to install AVG again and again with no luck. When I use the online installer it finishes and there is folder AVG in C:/Program files and the content of it seems OK, but the AVG services do not start and there in no error code or message. When I use offline installer, desktop shortcut is created but clicking on it brings error message: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150004). When I check Services, there are AVG Antivirus and AVG Firewall Services, they are set to Automatic start, but they are Stopped. When I try to start them I got error message: Error 1053 The service do not respond to the start. I use Windows 10 Home, with digital license. No other technical or software related issues on my new ACER PREDATOR laptop so far. My protection choice is AVG and I really hope to be able to use it :slight_smile:
