AVG Internet Security no longer works with Outlook 2016

Hello Bob,
We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. This could be caused due to email clients can't handle AVG's certificate after the recent AVG update. We recommend going into "AVG > Menu > Settings > Components > Email protection > Customize > SSL scanning > Export Certificate" and then apply exported certificate in the Outlook.

Hello Bob,

After AVG Internet Security was updated to version 755 I can no longer send/receive e-mail via Outlook 2016, version 17.4.3014. I consistently get "Send/receive error" from Outlook. I uninstalled AVG, and then Outlook worked fine. So, obviously AVG is the culprit. I suspect the problem is that my service provider, comcast.net, does not use standard ports for e-mail. It requires TCP/IP port 995 for incoming e-mail and port 587 for outgoing e-mail. I don't see any way in AVG to open up these ports. I've used AVG for years with comcast.net without a problem, using those non-standard ports. So, something changed in the last week and broke something. Please fix it.
