AVG Internet Security on micro SD card

Yes, Jagannath. You can mount your storage device to install applications as mentioned in the article. But you also mentioned previously that you will remove the SD card. The article also mentions about not to install programs to a removable device because of the obvious reason- they can be removed at any time, potentially affecting stability if removed while in use. So if you want to mount the card permanently, you can follow those steps to mount the card and do custom install of AVG on to the SD card. Thank you.

Hello Avinash, your last answer is pretty clear.  However, I have found an article which explains how you can mount a micro SD card as an extension of C: Drive.  I would like to have your comments.

I do hope I am not bothering you unduly.

AVG Technical Support has assured me that I can install AVG Internet Security on a micro SD card installed on my Tablet cm PC, and it will continue to work even after the micro SD card is ejected and re-installed on the Tablet cm PC. I have learnt from other forums that ejecting a micro SD card will, in most cases, disable any programs installedon it. Can any Community member throw more light on this issue?
