I have an AVG PRO licence on my android device with a subscription that claims I can install AVG internet security on "all my PCs" That used to be the case until I upgraded the PC to Windows 10. The upgrade wiped AVG off the PC. So now I am trying to reinstall it.
I have installed AVG Zen on the PC but when I try to install AVG Internet Security by clicking on PROTECTION on the Zen desktop I get an error message saying I have used an invalid licence number. The instructions state that I should simply log into my account and i have done this in Zen but the installation of protection never gets that far it always stalls at the licence error message. I have tried this many times now and have also tried uninstalling and restarting from scratch. I have tried using the process of sending an email from my android to the PC which worked before windows 10 but doesnt now. I am about to give up on the whole thing and find a new virus checker but having one more try on this forum. I have also tried several times (around 10) to get through to the live chat support but there is never any connection just the little wheel going round and round. I refuse to spend £20 on an AVG remote install - it shouldn be this difficult.
