This isn't the expected behavior. Please restart your PC and check the scan status. After the restart, repair AVG (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG) once and run the scan once again.

Hi,
I ran a manual scan yesterday after the Internet Security picked up a suspected virus being downloaded and it's still running. Even after I stopped the scan by pressing the Stop button, the scan continues.
Any help would be much appreciated.
