Please help. Recently, when I click on "SCAN COMPUTER", after scanning the browser, it scans for viruses and other malware, I noticed the pathnames shown starts with SVC:
Examples:
SVC: avgbidsh > C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\avgbidsh.sys
SVC: 1394ohci > C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\1394ohci.sys
SVC: DsmSvc > C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe
I have never noticed SVC: before. I am concerned that malware has taken over AVG Internet Security, so it is not AVG doing the scan but the malware is doing the scan and reporting no threats.
