AVG Internet Security settings to allow Windows 10 updates through

Hello Joe, 

We can really understand your concern. AVG Internet Security will not block the access of Windows Update. If you think AVG causing the issue, you can try to diable AVG program and check for Windows update. 

Please follow the steps in this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Disable-AVG-Antivirus) to identify the AVG component that is causing the issue & let us know.

Sorry Avinash, I don't thimk you are right. I installed AVG Internet Security few weeks ago and all my updates have failed sinced then! 9 Win 10 updates in total, some of them re-tried 4x. Please provide instructions on how to fix this in AVG setting otherwise I will uninstall your software and will require refund. In the current situation, your software is useless to me.

Please be informed that AVG Internet Security will not interfere or block Windows updates. It could be possible that there are no new updates available. I would suggest you to disable AVG completely (Right click on AVG system tray icon to turn off the protection) and check if you could download Windows updates. This will help us to narrow down the issue is caused by AVG or not.

I need help to setting protection exceptions in current version (2017) of AVG Internet Security to allow Windows Update updates to Windows 10 through so my laptop will detect and install them, please.
Note: I have tried disabling the Web shield and disabling the Software Analyser, but this is not sufficient. Each time I search for Windows updates, none are detected.
