AVG Internet Security slowing down my Mac mini

My Mac mini has been slowing down tremendously since I installed AVG Internet Security, how can I solve this problem…, the only solution I have is to uninstall for now. Kindly advise.

Please clarify when does the performance goes down. Is it while startup or browsing?

It's during web browsing on Chrome and Safari (I use these 2 only), but the speed improve tremandously once I uninstall the program (AVG Internet Security)…

My MAC is MAC Mini, Apple M1 Chip, Memory 8GB, macOS Ventura (version 13.0.1).

AVG have uninstalled, I have updated to the latest version before I uninstalled.
