1…I put  THE SCAN EVEN THOUGH SCHEDULED DOESN`T ALLWAYS RUN.so it is allready set up and i have  used the repair option,  ??

The scan even though scheduled doesn't always run
old version had a better layout,easy to find what you looking for ,
a online help for this version where ?
no longer pause a scan

never had any problems before this updated program,when can i get a reliable  version i can trust

I understand your concern. In the latest 2017 version of AVG, we do have an option to pause\cancel the scan from the scan window.

Once the scan is scheduled and during the scheduled time if the computer is in sleep mode or switched off, the scheduled scan will skip and will run only in the next scheduled time.

Last computer scan can be seen from the main AVG AntiVirus free interface, at the left corner of the interface and above Virus definition.
You can find the scan report from this location:

Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista: C:\ProgramData\AVG\Antivirus\report
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVG\Antivirus\report

I am sorry to inform that it is not possible to install the older version of AVG AntiVirus free, even if you install the older version, it will get auto updated to the latest version.

Hello Martyn,

Please be informed that the last scan update on the AVG program interface will be incorrect and this is a known issue. We will fix this as soon as possible. However, the schedule scan should happen without any issues.
In your case, I recommend you to completely reinstall the AVG Internet Security unlimited program using this AVG Clear tool https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe once. Follow the onscreen instructions to proceed with the removal.
Once done with this, please install AVG Internet Security unlimited as mentioned in this article: http://avgread.me/1FKGRZI .
Setup the schedule scan and if it doesn't run, do let us know.

as i said THE LAST SCAN WINDOW DOES NOT UPDATE  because the scheduled does not run.
i am using a paid version of internet  security not avg free.

the last version had a manual pause. if this version does not have that option tell me.
