AVG Internet Security wants me to download AVG PC Tuneup

Hello Luis,

For your information when you click Fix performance on the dashboard of AVG Internet Security opens up and will show you the errors found on your PC but to fix those errors you have to purchase the license for AVG PC Tuneup and install the program. If you were using AVG PC tuneup trial version then it can fix the errors only for 30 days after which it will expire and you have to get the license for it to continue using it. So if you click on Fix performance again you will only get the PC analyzer scanning results but you cannot able to fix it until you get the license for AVG PC tuneup. Thank you.

I'm using Windows 7 and Google Chrome. I purchased AVG Internet Security and after running PC Analyzer and clicking the "Fix Performance" button, an internet window opened for me to download and install AVG PC Tuneup (trial version). I installed the trial version of PC Tuneup and later decided that I did not want to purchase it, so I uninstalled PC Tuneup using Control Panel/Programs and Features. After that, whenever I run the PC Analyzer and click the Fix Now" button, AVG Internet Security doesn't do any repairs, but instead, an internet window opens directing me to download the AVG PC Tuneup trial. I don't want to use the PC Tuneup trial. I want PC Analyzer to run normally and do the repairs like it did before I originally installed the trial version of PC Tuneup. I've searched for help but am considering doing an uninstall of AVG Internet Security and doing a reinstall. Before I try a reinstall, does anyone have any ideas on what I should try first? Thanks!
