I have pursued further with this problem by starting at the very beginning.
The code confirming my renewal sent at the time is different to the one sent to me.
The reason being the last two digits are close to each other and not as shown in my confirmation. I have hopefully, re-actived my AVG Internet Security now. (The buy now has disappeared.)
Let's see what happens now?

Following your instructions, I have unistalled your AVG Secure Browser, which may have been causing the problem. I then did the procedure of repair as suggested by you.
Thinking all was now resolved but this morning after login, there were two icons in the red.
Please check that I have correctly renewed my AVG Internet Security and not having two.

Why is the occasional AVG Internet Security icons being switched? I have not requested such an action. Everyday I need to check to make sure all sections are on. And even later, I check again and find that one has been switched off! This is now becoming annoying when you cannot rely on your system to be working properly. I only recently renewed.

I prefer to have a single AVG Tune-up for one computer.
Please now confirm my renewal date for the AVG Tune-Up as a single user.

I have as requested acitvated this single subscription, which is now valid until 17 Janaury 2021.
I note that the same code is used for Internet Security too?

This isn't the expected behavior, we're sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Please make sure you do not have any conflicting antivirus software installed on your PC.
If you have, please uninstall it. I'd also request you to repair AVG to resolve the issue.

I have done as requuested and unitalled this and reinstalled this again.
When I re-installed this, the code given to me did not work…red and invalid. I double checked this to make sure I used correct code.
When I go into the AVG Internet Security, I now get a note stating to buy this system. I have already recently renewed this.
I must of not done this correctly?

I have checked as instructed by you for the expirey date of the AVG Internet Security and the date shown is May 17, 2021.
I am due tor renew the AVG Tune-Up on 10 July 2020 and I do hope this will not cause a problem.

Sometimes, this might happen if few services are unable to initiate. Hence, our colleague has suggested you to repair AVG program. Since it didn't help, let us perform a clean installation.
