Hello everyone,

I took out a subscription to AVG Internet Security because I was fed up with the daily notifications and alerts urging me to buy software, a suite, a service. Despite everything, this hype continues.

Is there a setting somewhere in the software or in the AVG account to suppress these ads?

I find the antivirus very useful and effective. But the incessant ads are a nuisance.

Thank you for your reply. I'll share screenshots with you as soon as I have them. Today, miraculously, there is no promotion for software that improves PC performance, eliminates temporary files or "cleans" the registry.
