Kindly check if your product is updated or not : AVG >> Menu >> Settings >> Update

And kindly use clear from the below link and uninstall the AVG :

When I startup my lPC AVG Internet Security shows Hacker Attack is not switched on.
There is no problem to manually switch on, but it shouldn't it come up automatically?
