How can I temporarily disable  AVG Internet Security 19.6 for Mac without uninstalling it?

Hello Gerald,

Please be informed that we have started to detect Apple macOS CleanMyMac X application as a PUP.
The reason is they are marked as a deceptor by APPESTEEM -  https://customer.appesteem.com/Home/DeceptorFix
And does not match with our Guidelines https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlname=AVG-clean-guidelines.

Therefore only possible solution is to set an exception for the file shield.
After setting the exception, you may need to reinstall the CleanMyMac X application.

Kindly confirm if you are not able to follow the instructions.
We will provide you further assistance.

Doesn't work.   I disabled all shields, restarted, confimed that all shields were disabled, but the program blocked opening CleanMyMacX.dmg and returned MacOS: PuAgent-AZ {PUP].  I cannot make CleanMyMacX an exception because it is not on my computer to start with (I think because AVG Internet Security disabled it) so it does not show up in the list of apps that can be selected as an exception.  Any ideas?
