Hello Veronica,

I have had a problem since last weekend. I got the UI Failed to load error message and then followed all the advice on the forum to remove the software and reinstall. I got several error messages trying to install both the Paid and the Free versions - one was 'An error occurred while copying the file avgNetNd6.sys to the Destination folder. Another was OxE0010509, and tonight I have downloaded AVG Free apparently without issue, but then as soon as I clicked on the icon in the taskbar I get a message to say 'Sorry we are experiencing a slight hiccup in connecting with our server. Then I got the UI Failed to Load error message again and 'Protection is Off until you restart your computer' which I have done but still the same problem. I have used TDDSkiller, Adwcleaner and Combofix to see if there is now any malware and those apparently look ok. I have phoned your online service, they pointed out there were old anti-virus programs in the Registry and I have removed those. There was no Windows Installer process in Task Manager. I am just about ready to give up and try another program. Is there anything else you can suggest.
