AVG Internet Security

Hi AVG gurus, I need the same help as Doug!
I have a paid verson of Internet security unlimited, and it seems I have gotten the same same problem as Doug. In addition, the main dashboard says I only have a trial version, and the subscription tab says my subscription expires 01.01.1970.  No other antivirus/malware program .I have tried Fix AVG, Remove AVG, Clean AVG and reainstalled, but in vain. AVG has worked flawless for me in several years, and on my 3 pc's with win 10 with same configuration on all 3. But suddenly, the other day, on this PC:

We suggest you to run AVG Protection repair(avgclick.me/RepairAVG) from control panel and check if that fix this issue. If you still have any issue, please send us the screenshot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the error message you receive from AVG. So, that we can check the same and assist you better.

I upgraded to AVG Internet Security today and everything seems to be running fine except I'm getting an alert on the main dashboard that says "You are not protected…computer protection is turned off".  However all 5 categories on the dashboard are in GREEN, thus showing everything is running.  Why am I getting the "Not protected" alert?  When I click the "Fix Now" button nothing happens.

Tried the "Fix" solution and still having the same issue.  All systems seem to be working, but I'm getting the error message and the "Fix It" button does nothing.
