AVG internet security

I have done all you instructed and it said the  repair was successfully updated but nothing happens.
With the compatibility mode ticked and I click on Internet Security it then goes straight to the Do you want to allow the program to make following changes to the computer  …AVG Netherlands B.V  I click on yes and it goes back to the desktop icon.
With compatibility mode unticked, Internet Security won't even open.

That’s certainly not how we want your AVG to work. Please right click on AVG Internet Security icon in desktop and select 'Properties'-> click on 'Compatibility' tab-> uncheck the 'Run this program with compatibility mode for' option and click OK to save changes. Then check if it works. If the issue persists, please repair your AVG Internet Security program as per the steps mentioned here and check the status.

I cannot open internet security despite my subscriptions being up to date. Every time I try it gets to asking allow AVG Netherlands BV to make changes and I click on yes and the screen goes blank. I've tried re-installing and everything else I can think off which says install was successful but as soon as I get to Run and approve AVG Netherlands BV the screen goes blank. Help?

Please make sure that 'Run this program with compatibility mode for' option in compatibility mode is unticked or unchecked. If so, please remove AVG Internet Security as per the steps mentioned here . Then reinstall it by following the steps mentioned in this article . Keep us informed about the status to assist further.

Thanks for your help. I followed your advice and it now seems to be working although in order to achieve this I have had to uninstall my paid subscription Malwarbytes with which AVG was apparently clashing.

I believe my AVG subscriptions allows me to install Internet security to my othercomputer. If this is the case can you show me how best to go about this?

 As I am not that computer literate, I find your instructions to be simple, easy to follow and extremely
helpful for which I am very grateful.

You can click here for the instruction to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security on your other computer and click here for the instruction to download/install/activate AVG TuneUp. You have to select login option to activate them.
