Avg internet security

Dear Alok
Thank you, I followed your instructions and restarted my computer. But still cannot update. Then I have uninstalled an old antivirus program [McAfee] as recommended by AVG when repairing and restarted the computer again but still no change. Then I have tried to repair a second time and restart again but I still receive the same error messages while trying to update. What should I do now. I'm desperate. Please help me.

Alok, Email well received and your colleague Jaya has partly resolved the problem since Saturday last. My avg internet security has been installed but there is still no automatic update. As per  Jaya a senoir team will revert back to me for a solution. But nothing up to now. I have replied to your email regarding this issue which needs to be fixed urgently please.

In this case, I request you to repair AVG Protection (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG) and reboot your computer once. After reboot, please check if your AVG program and it's updates are working.

Hello Michel Raj,
I've followed your suggestion and contacted my ISP. They did not find any issue with the network. I had my laptop checked by a technician who did not find any issue as well. They informed me that my network is working properly and that the problem is with your update server. Furthermore I do not have any problem receiving updates from Windows. Also, I noticed that I am not the only one having this issue with AVG as per the different reviews I've read. Its been two months since the last update and that's not acceptable. I have paid for a full year protection with automatic updates! If you are not able to solve this issue then refund me part of the subscription amount I've paid. Also note that I have already cancel my automatic  renewal subscription.

Hello Micaela,
I really appreciate your effort in resolving this issue so far. The issues might be because of old/previous AVG traces.
In this case, I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version.
Please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product) to run AVG Remover tool and AVG Clear tool.
After the computer reboots, you can follow the instruction to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security. You have to use AVG Internet Security license number to activate it.
