David, Please click this link (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe) to download and run the AVG Remover tool. 
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process. 
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer. 
3. After the restart,  manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer. 
4. Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link (http://avgclick.me/InstallAV).

I had an error message telling me that I needed to put my license key into system again I went to the sight downloaded it pasted it in it says " valid " in green letters  but still doesn't work, I go to check my account and it says I don't have one ,  how does it know my license key and how did it give me it again if I don't have an account. I have wasted a day trying to get someone to talk to me  and still nothing  I don't have any protyection here and I want it fixed  they even told me to uninstall it and re instal  but  it won't let me uninstall I need someone to help me  Thanks in advance  Dave

Please  click this link http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and "Run" the AVG Remover tool.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart,  manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.
