Please follow the below steps and let us know the status.
Open the AVG Internet Security > Click on the Web & Email tile > Enhanced Firewall > Network profiles > make sure that all of the network connections (wireless network, Lan, VPN, printers, etc.,) are selected as a private connection "I trust this network".
Please follow the steps mentioned in this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=AVG-Antivirus-Enhanced-Firewall-System-Rules&supportType=home) to configure the system rules and enable all the permission in a private connection.
Once it did, get back to the home screen and go to ☰ Menu ▸ Settings.
Select Full protection ▸ Remote Access Shield in the left panel.
Tick the box next to Block all connections except the following.
Under Block, all connections except the following, click Add.
Enter a trusted IP address or IP range, then click Allow. Added connections appear below the Add button.

I have AVG internet security and it is blocking my HOME, TRUSTED network and doing my head in.

I have to turn off the firewall to get anything. I have a non AVG VPN, and it has always worked. Now it doesn't.

Have tried to make other networks trusted, but AVG just turns it back ti I don't trust this network.

I see this has been an issue for years and 10,000 apologies later it appears that the glitch has not been fixed.

Please can it be sorted out?
