AVG Internet Security

Hello, have changed DNS several times per guidance and still it won't connect to internet, even though I have interenet connection on - any other ideas please?

This isn't the experience we want you to have. We'd like to look into this & help you. 
Initially, please let us know whether there are any other antivirus installed on your computer. 
From your description, it seems that the program on your computer is unable to communicate with our server.
In this regard, please try changing DNS settings & let us know if it helps.

I have a valid subscription for Internet Security as well as AVG TuneUp and AVG Driver Update.  The last 2 work perfectly fine, no problems.  The problem with Internet Security is even though I have a valid activation code per my subscription, when I enter it it tells me "Please connect to the internet", which I am.  I have used AVG support which have stopped answering my emails now as their answer was to uninstall and reinstall Internet Security.  I cannot see that my firewall is blocking AVG and have not had this problem before with AVG.  If I cannot resolve I will have to cancel and find another security provider. Any ideas? Thank you.
