A white window opened of its own accord while on a website. When I tried to open AVG to check on it, a smaller window with a message appeared. The message was/is "the procedure entry point e could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\program files (x86\AVG\antivirus\libssl-1_1.dll"
What happened? What does this mean? How can this be fixed? Please help!
Also trying to post this question in the community support group has also not worked. I've tried posting this before and it went to pending and then told me I had nothing in pending.
With all due respect the directions for unistalling should be updated.
how do i know which version we have?
Thank you for the screenshot.

I couldn't find the support page after I logged back in. Customer Care had to give me the link to find the post…(as pending message I had no idea if it went through and you got it or not).
Jen, we have already provided the article link for uninstalling AVG program.
You should be having the latest version of AVG and that is the reason you are getting this message though you used the remover tool.
AVG remover tool will remove old version whereas Clear tool will only remove the latest version.
