I do have no access to my laptop anymore!
When it is trying to start, it says, that it checks and repares the system and stucks at 10%. After almost two hours I went to bed. This morning another screen told me, that there is a problem and the laptop can not start. I have no idea, what happened and how I could start my laptop.
Of course I do not have a recovery cd and no backup :(

somehow I do not really understand how AVG is working...
I have AVG Zen on my laptop and bought AVG Internet Security. Somehow I need both systems running, right?!
After the scan today, Internet Security tells me that it found 896 threats on my computer! And that they can not be removed. Not one of them. They are all "generic viruses" and now I should buy another tool for removing them.
Do I understand right, that Internet Security is not protecting my computer right?

I downloaded AVG Ulitmate again and have now on my laptop
AVG Zen
AVG Protection
AVG Tune-up (maybe it is the german name - it first said AVG Performance, but turned out as Tune-up)
It seems that everything is working just fine again. And since I cleaned the laptop from McAffee, it should stay like this.
And I made a backup of all my datas - there is always a good thing behind a bad one. ;)
Even a new laptop can show troubles and maybe loose everything. Now nothing can happen to me and my pics and music. Thanx angain! :)
Connie, two scanning progress of AVG Internet Security would not run at the same time. Do you have any other AVG program installed on your PC?

Does it say PC TuneUp in the control panel program list or when you click on Performance it is opening the AVG PC TuneUp dashboard?
I requested you to check the program name on the control panel program list and not on the Program interface.
Please confirm this and do let me know the status of it.

It was McAffee on the laptop with a one year licence but I uninstalled it for AVG

You have purchased the subscription for AVG Ultimate Multidevice. It is the combination of both Protection and Performance.
You have the protection installed perfectly but the program with name AVG PC TuneUp is the older version, the new version should have the name as AVG Performance.
AVG Zen is the interface for the Multidevice program.
We request you to first run the AVG Remover tool and check whether the AVG PC Tuneup is listed for removal.

Please let us know whether the PC tuneup is listed for removal so that we can proceed further.

If it operates on windows 7 please long press F8 at the time of restart. In case if your system performs upgraded version of 8, 8.1 or 10 please press SHIFT key along with F8. Once you have done this a popup window will appear and select last know good configuration. Select your restore point. It looks like the person, who set up my laptop didn´t use the removal tool. I did now.
Yesterday I also uninstalled all AVG programs by the windows application.
Now I finished it by the AVG Remover.
Which programs do I have to download now to have a perfect AVG performance?
This is what I mentioned in my first post. I am afraid I do not know how AVG is working
My apps say that I have
AVG Protection
AVG Tune up
AVG Zen
I bought AVG Ultimate. So I guess something is too much on my laptop?!
