I'm sorry to hear about this, you might have received pop up to upgrade AVG 2016 to AVG 2017 and you got both versions installed on your computer which is why they both ware conflicting with each other. In this case, I request you to remove all the AVG traces ( AVG 2016 and AVG 2017) from you computer and reinstall your AVG program (AVG Internet Security which you have purchased).
All of a sudden AVG downloaded a duplicate version of itself, then proceeded to lock both versions up because of "conflicting" antivirus protection, which also blocked my internet connection causing me to have to figure out if it was my modem or you messing up my connection. Tried to contact support but gave up after 48 minutes of bad hold music and nobody even answering the phone. Looked up my account, and though my history says I bought and paid for a one year license it doesn't list my subscription. Basically why is your product screwing up so badly all of a sudden?
