AVG Internet Security

Yesterday, at 12:03 GMT the 24th. April, I contacted your 'Technical' section and spoke to your technician 'Delli' - Case #156 475 30. He solved my problem by uninstalling and reinstalling my AVG Internet Security program which at this time, 16:58 GMT 25th. April,  I'm delighted to say, is working perfectly once again.

After powering up and getting the main screen, clicking onto the short-cut icon for the AVG Security screen does not produce said application page, therefore not allowing access to updates/smart scan/general information etc. which may be required to be acted upon and which gives a somewhat foreboding with regard to the actual state of security of the system. However the task bar hidden icon does 'come alive' when clicked, with a banner message stating "AVG Internet Security - You are protected". Can I take this to be a real piece of information (to be trusted) or a glitch in the program which requires attention ? I would add that AVG apps have been my go to users for several years without any problems until this occurrence which manifested itself on the 19th. April last.
My operating system is Windows 10 - 64 bit.

Thank you for updating the status, Tymothy.
We're glad to know that the issue has been resolved.

Have a great day, stay safe online with AVG!
