Do you mean that the component 'Hacker attacks' is not turned ON? You mentioned that you've been re-directed to a page to add folders but we are uncertain about it. Could you provide us the screenshot of the same?

If components are inactive, we will always recommend our customers to check for conflicting other party AntiVirus programs and uninstall it. Do you have any other third party AntiVirus program installed on your PC. If so, please uninstall it.

I recently removed AVG Internet Security (paid version) from my computer and set it up again. After that AVG Internet Security did its work for almost 14 days without any problems but the last week I have noticed that almost every day my "hacker attacks" mode (firewall) does not work properly.

Even the manual setting of the “hacker attacks mode” is no longer possible (I get to a screen where I have to add folders!), for what reason, all folders have already been added, nothing helps.
 
Do not say that it is because of another program that runs on my computer (behavior scan), I do not believe that, I rather think it is because of stopping AGV VPN on my side.
 
Please set the correct parameters in your back office and do not keep me working unnecessarily with always switching my computer on and off.
