Sorry for the trouble, make sure that you do not have any other conflicting security programs installed on your device. Go To Control Panel -> Programs and Features-> Uninstall -> uninstall conflicting programs and then turn off Passive mode to check if it helps.

Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> Settings -> Troubleshooting -> Passive mode -> turn it off and let us know if the issue persists.

Hi,
I’ve reactivated AVG Internet Security yesterday (Thu, Feb 15, 2018).
Today, I got an alert that I’ve another Avg! that should be uninstalled!
After uninstalling, the software reverted to the passive mode.
