This might have happened due to an incorrect or failed update from AVG.
Please run AVG repair avgclick.me/RepairAVG from your computer control panel and check if that fix the issue.
Firstly does anyone know what's happening to AVG, it seems to be out of control and releasing updates with loads of bugs in them.
Internet Security was up todate and working fine when I logged off last night, this morning it says it's not operative and an update is required. Click Fix Now nothing happens, manually go to activate update and it says the antivirus is up todate. Then moment later a banner appears saying an update is available then next minute it says that my anitivirus is up todate.
Does anyone know what's going on ???

Thanks for reponse, yes I've already tried that and clicked chnage first but nothing then clicked uninstall then repair. It went through the repair, rebooted the PC but to find that a banner came up stating the "update was completed successfully" but on the dashboard it still states "you are not fully protected" and that on the computer icon it states an update is required and "Fix Now"
Tried both but nothing achanges.
I seem to have had lots of issues and problems with AVG IS and TuneUp this last 3 weeks and can't continue like this.
