Disable the AVG protection temporarily and check if these issue still persists.

Since installing Internet security I have 2 problems.  The 1st: is instead of going into sleep mode the computer shuts down completely.  And the 2nd when computer starts, Microsoft edge shows up, how do I stop it from starting short of uninstalling it.  Thank you

Did uninstall, reboot (and came back to normal), reinstall and have same problems.  As faar as update, I don''t remember any for sleep mode.

In this case, we'd request you to remove all traces of AVG Internet Security from your computer using our "Clear" tool & check if the issue still persists.
