We're here to help. This could be caused due to MS Office is added to 'Blocked apps' list in Ransomware protection settings. To edit these settings, please open AVG Internet Security, click on Hacker Attacks and click 'Open' on 'Ransomware Protection'. In the settings window, make sure 'Smart Mode' is enabled. Then click on 'Blocked/Allowed apps'.
Remove if the MS Office applications from 'Blocked apps' list and add it under 'Allowed apps'.
I can no longer save changes to documents I have created, this includes vital excel workbooks, what can I do to stop this as it is effectively stopping me from working
