If not, open AVG Internet Security interface.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Troubleshooting–>Passive Mode".
Use the On/Off slider to turn off the protection temporarily.

AVG is blocking smtp.me.com (SMTP). My outgoing email is dead. Any ideas how to get fixed?
