AVG is creating huge bunch of files located in E:/Windows/Temp

Yes it seems I have this feature, I can see the AVG WebTuneUp on the Windows, Program Uninstall list.
The link that you have shared is not working for me. Please could you send me the link to the specific article?

I bought a PC which has AVG AntiVirus Free installed.
Version 16.111.7797
It seems that AVG is creating huge bunch of files located in
E:/Windows/Temp

There are about 57 such files and the Temp folder is growing over 5GB in total.
The E: partition size is 60GB this means almost 10% is consumed by AVG temp. files.
If I delete the 5GB files than after few days the files are back and situation is same.

Please could you tell me how to avoid the AVG to eat my harddrive?

OK, link is working. It opens some articles but seem's not relevant to disk space issue. Is it supposed that the solution for the issue is there?

Hello,
finally I got it. If I open the link by Firefox in anonymous mode the article will apear nicely on first click. The recommendation is to uninstall the WebTuneUp feature and don't use it at all.
