AVG is flagging Dropbox.exe as IDP.Generic Threat

Hello Tony,

It might be a false positive. If you are sure about that application, we recommend you to submit a request using this link: https://www.avg.com/en-us/false-positive-file-form . Our developers will check and work on it.

This just started today. After a started my PC up, it has been off for 7 days due to be being out of the country on holiday, I got the following action notification from AVG - We've blocked the threat DROPBOX.EXE from harming your computer. What would you like to do?
Threat Name - IDP.Generic
Process - c:\users\elsid\appdata\roaming\dropbox\client_60.4.107\dropbox.exe
Detected by - Behavior Shield

I do have dropbox installed on my PC and this looks legit in the file path. So what should I do? Is this a bug / false positive?

Hello Gary,
We can certainly take a look into this. Could you let me know the version of AVG Protection installed on your computer, to check this open AVG Protection > Menu/option > about.
If possible, please share a screenshot of the AVG detection with "see details" page to proceed further.
