Never mind! I continued browsing on my computer for an hour after the above post and suddenly AVG popped up needing a restart. I did so and AVG is back to working. I don't know what AVG was doing during that hour. Its own update maybe??

AVG IS no longer responds after W10 Pro 1909 updates 2020-02 (KB4537572) and 2020-03 (KB4551762).
When this happened the first time, I uninstalled the W10 updates and restarted the computer. AVG IS worked just fine. I would like to keep W10 updated so I decided to uninstall AVG, reinstall the W10 updates, then re-install AVG.
I used AVG Clear to uninstall AVG, restarted the computer, installed the two W10 updates, restarted the computer. Everything went as expected. I then installed AVG IS and activated it. AVG IS seemed to be working OK, Had AVG do a computer scan. No problems. Rebooted the computer. AVG IS no longer responds.
Windows Defender is now the working antivirus and firewall protection.
Any suggestions as to keeping W10 updated and AVG working?
