I'm getting this message on my Windows 10 laptop 2 months after installing AVG Zen 2015 during which time it's been working fine. Windows 10 had some updates to install so I rebooted to complete these but AVG is still not working.

Hello A R,
We are glad to know that the issue has been resolved. It is a known issue that some customers may find issues in AVG program after upgrading to windows 10. This may be due to the reason that AVG installed in the computer is a old version which will not be compatible with 'Windows 10'. In such cases, we suggest the customers to uninstall and then reinstall a new version of AVG program. Thank you.

Thanks Kishore this fixed the problem. I logged a support call for this and they gave the same advice.
I am puzzled why this could happen. I have 3 computers all installed from AVG_Protection_822.exe on 1st Jan 2016 but only 1 had the above problem 70 days after installation and working fine. All 3 computers are on the same Zen/network. On the problem laptop Windows 10 updates KB3140743 and KB3139907 had just completed the first installation step requiring a reboot when AVG reported “AVG Is Not Able To Recognise Your License Number”. I would have expected that after reboot the AVG license issue would have resolved itself. If not then I should not have to uninstall/reinstall as Zen should be able to connect and validate the license.
The laptop now has AVG version “16.51.7496” whereas the other 2 unaffected computers have <blank> version number. However all 3 are working perfectly - for now!
Thanks
