AVG is not able to recognize your license number

Hello Juan,
We understand how something like this can really try your patience.
This is a know issue and our development team are working on it. As a temporary fix we request you to run AVG remover tool to completely uninstall AVG from your pc and then install AVG back in your pc to get your issue fixed.
To run AVG remover tool for AVG Antivirus please follow the below steps :
Please click on the below link to download remover tool
http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
Accept the license agreement and then choose AVG Product and remove it.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

Hi i have the free version of AVG and it recently started telling me it doesnt recognize my license number, i am unable to repair it or uninstall it. When i attempt to uninstall it and i click on the "switch to free version" it gives me this error :

Error code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished

AVG itself claims "There are no active components" when i press enter with the license number blank.

I also downloaded this after finding a post that had the same error(from this site of course) it didnt help.
