AVG is stopping Backup. Error code 0x8078011E

For back up of your system files you have to disable the antivirus program temporarily.

Hi
I have a Windows 7 Professional 64-bit new machine, purchased in October. AVG has failed every week at the set time to complete the Backup, with the message "Exclusive lock on EFI system partition. Another App is using files on ESP". That other App is AVG. Turn off AVG, and the Backup completes.
So what configuration does my AVG have to be in?
