I've folowed the repair instructions and rebooted after finishing, but it didn't help. It did say it detected MalwareBytes and that I should delete it. I have that installed for special scans but it is switched off also in the startup msconfig it's switched off and AVG is switched on. (Btw, I'm running windows 7 home premium.). It used to all work together just fine but since I had a new SSD installed in february and reinstalled all the latest versions, it's not working as it should do. I'll try deleting AVG and reinstalling it. I'll keep you posted.
Hello,
I am using the AVG Free software but I need to switch the components on by hand everytime I switch on my computer. I mean, it should be on by default shouldn't it? I can't see any way of changing this in the menus. Can some one tell me how to fix this please!
We appreciate your efforts, Eddy.
It is recommended to have any one security programs to avoid conflicts. We request you to uninstall Malwarebytes, restart your device and check with it.
If AVG Antivirus free is working fine, reinstall Malwarebytes and let us know its status.
Go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Uninstall -> uninstall Malwarebytes.
