Hi all, i have Just noticed that the folder of my Antivirus AVG (free) is larger than usual.
In Programs(x86), AVG, Antivirus i found a folder called "defs" that has more than 20Gb of files in there, folders renamed in numbers and _stream (ex. 1706802_stream). I got a lot of them.
Every folder has .bin files named like pkg1707020000000000.bin and others with .DLL files, nmp, map, .sig, etc etc.
What' s happening here?
Hi Federico,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern.
AVG Anti Virus Free should not take so much space.
The issue might be due to Old AVG files. Please provide me a screenshot of the files and a screenshot of the page where it shows the total space taken by AVG. Here is a link with the steps to create a screenshot: http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot . You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
