My AVG VPN which was upgraded on the 30th of June is telling me “Your online privacy is not protected”! Please does it needs some activation?

Yes, you are correct.
Your browsing activity and your IP address will be masked. You will have a complete privacy against online attackers.

It seems your AVG Secure VPN is disabled which is why it says "your online privacy is not protected". Please open AVG Secure VPN and toggle the On/Off slider to enable your AVG Secure VPN.
